In your opinion, what does clean beauty bring to cosmetics?
Clean beauty was once perceived to be a passing trend but has now become the new norm in our cosmetics environment. Clean Beauty has challenged all the leading players in the cosmetics industry value chain and inspired them to bring positive yet disruptive solutions to preserve our environment, our skin, and our health.
What is the direction Aptar is taking regarding Clean Beauty?
Aptar believes that the packaging industry must move beyond the make, use, dispose behaviours of the past and actively work towards a circular economy. By circulating used plastic and packaging, we keep it in the economy and out of the environment, reducing the quantity of plastic needed, using recycled material, recycling plastic packaging at a high rate and developing reuse models. Our vision is to design products and processes with people and the planet in mind. We are focusing our activities on three mains areas for sustainability on the Beauty, Personal Care, Home Care and Closures markets: recycled materials, recyclability, and reusability.
What are some interesting innovations Aptar is planning to bring at Clean Beauty in London?
Aptar Beauty is proud to unveil its new Turnkey Solutions offer showcasing its first Beauty Collection of 12 unique products that combine advanced formulations with leading-edge packaging solutions for skincare and colour cosmetics. Our ready to wear products include cruelty-free, natural, vegan, and upcycled formula propositions to facilitate inspirational collaboration.
Why is Aptar coming to Clean Beauty in London and what do you hope to achieve at the show?
Being present at this tradeshow is a first for us and was a natural choice that coincides naturally with the launch of our new Turnkey Solutions by Aptar service. This event is a unique opportunity to engage with industry actors, our partners and meet with new customers. The Turnkey Solutions by Aptar Team is also excited to be there as the UK is a strategic and historic place for clean beauty. We look forward to presenting our novelties and ideating on future product developments with brands and opening the discussion with potential partners for future collaborations
