Hello, I am Ana Allen, a regenerative beauty expert and fast-scale indie brand product developer. I work with brands that regenerate the skin and create a positive impact on the environment.
I am here to introduce product developers, brands and consumers to the idea of Renewal, Repair and Regeneration when it comes to product development.
What does this mean in beauty and in our environmental footprint?
Our responsibility as a brand is to make sure that we’re delivering an effective product and we are leaving a positive mark on the environment. The idea behind regeneration is harmony. It is the ability for cells, tissues and organisms to renew and repair after damage. It can also be used to describe the ability of an ecosystem- specifically the environment and its living population- to renew and recover from damage, and then replenish what is disturbed.
I encourage brands to think about the whole eco-systems when they’re developing a beauty product. An excellent place to start is by sourcing sustainable ingredients from suppliers that support regenerative practices, such as biodynamic farming and farm-to-skin methods, where the focus is on listening and eliminating the impact the beauty products have on the planet.
